U15's Sunday challenge 11/03/12

It's the last match of the season, and this will be the last Sunday challenge of this season, so it's a good one.

A simple challenge this week. Just bring something green with you to training on Sunday.

There will be a prize for best item, and maybe one for best shade of green if the judge is feeling particularly generous.

Don't forget those phone numbers from those I haven't managed to get yet.

U15's Sunday Challenge 19/02/12

As the previous trainings and match have been cancelled, we will stay with the 'Wear a hat' challenge for this Sunday's away match at Henley.

We will judge the best/funniest hat after the match, there will be a prize.

Don't forget to bring your mobile numbers as well, we need to collect about 10 more so we can get the SMS alert working.

This week your mission is to bring a hat to training on Sunday. Your weird headwear will be judged after the session, and most impressive will be awarded the prize.

Don't forget that the match against Swindon is cancelled, and it's training only.

As well as your hat, bring your mobile number with you as we will be collecting these and setting up a text alert system so you will always know first what's going on, and not having to wait for your parents to tell you.

Anyone who turns up without a brown finger will be fined £1.

Under 15 Tour news.

Dear U15 Parents

Robin has recently written to you about the planned tour to France next year. Thank you to all of you who have already confirmed your son's place. I urge all of you who haven't yet replied to please do so as soon as possible. The tour will be the climax to what is shaping up to be our best season yet
You will see from Robin's email that the tour cost to Parents will be greatly reduced by the fundraising that we are doing this year.  We set a target at the beginning of the year to raise £4000, in order that we could have a great tour that was both exciting and affordable

The good news is that we have just broken the £3000 barrier in our fundraising to date. This is excellent progress and has only been possible because of your help and support at events like the quiz and selling the wristbands (not forgetting the cost saving to the team from all the excellent Match day meals that you provide!)
We believe that we can reach our target if we keep up the efforts and the tremendous team spirit this year. I will be writing again to let you know about the future fundraising events that we hope you can support

Thank you again for your help and contributions to date. Everyone is looking forward to a well supported, fun and great value U15s Tour!
